xPLMediaNet - Some Enhancements

Hi all,

One thing I don't like at the moment is that it's necessary to set the
paths
and tag helpers to be used on each source. This means having to enter the
same information in multiple source loader xml's

Am going to add a system wide setting that can be used by all modules of a
particular type (e.g. music, videos, pictures) and you can then choose to
override these at individual source module level. To avoid confusion if you
enter details at the source module level, then that module will ignore the
system wide entries. Is this ok?

Thinking ahead to the mvp, I'm going to add a function that will allow you
to create a whole graphical overlay for each menu option (rather than just
listing sources etc as text). By default it will be text though, as I'm no
good at graphics!

xPLMediaNet will also have a function to help speed up menus on the MVP.
This is called THUMBS and will run as a scanner. It will pre-create
thumbnail images of videos as this is quicker for the menu to use than
having to recreate the images each time it displays the menu. This will be
optional, and missing images will still be created from the movies
directly.
