I don't know why xPLHal is sending two messages for every one
message sent by W800 (perhaps someone else has a suggestion?), but
to reduce the number coming from the W800, try increasing the
timeout value for the W800 device in xPLHal (I think it defaults to
200ms - try 300 or 400 instead)
