xPLRioNet MVP Update

  • Subject: xPLRioNet MVP Update

Hi all,

Sometime today an update to xPLRioNet MVP support will be published.

This has a fix for an issue where some pictures render badly.

And a couple of fixes in the movie streaming, which also now means that
when
a movie completes it will return to the menu.

Can we ask that if anyone has an issue with movie streaming that they test
it against the hauppauge software before reporting a bug please?

Known issues that effect both xPLRioNet AND the ORIGINAL software (but all
play fine in Windows Media Player) are:

a) in some (but seemingly not all) cases - multiple mpg's spliced together
using "copy /b" only play the first part

b) some mpg's appear to be reported as unsupported/corrupt and will not
play

In the long term we will attempt to find way's around these problems.

Those who have already updated to the MVP version, will only need to update
xplrionet.exe file.

Will post to the list when the update is available for download.

Regards
Tony
