Trouble getting started with Rio Receiver

  • Subject: Trouble getting started with Rio Receiver

I just acquired a used Rio Receiver, and I haven't been able to get
everything working together yet. Here's an outline of what I've
tried so far:

- Installed .NET framework
- Installed xPLRioNet
- Changed IP addresses in .xml files as instructed
- Started service
- Ran .mp3 scan
- Connected Rio Receiver to network and turned it on

The Rio says "Searching for music server" for quite a while, then
eventually shows the following indefinitely:

info net:pna ip:169.254.159.253
n:255.255.0.0 g:255.255.255.255

The IP strikes me as incorrect, it should be 192.168.0.x. I've tried
with DHCP flagged Y and N in the configuration, with no luck.

Any ideas?
