I have the opposite problem - my PIC programmer is still in it's
jiffy bag! Just not enough hours in the day...

I think Ian tried to xAP enable a PDA a while ago, but ran into
problems with possible bugs in the OS.
The code I'm writing should work on any wireless PocketPC. I'm
currently working with old HP Jornada 520s, with wifi compact flash
cards. The main issue between different PDAs is the screen - the
520s only have a 256 colour screen, so I'll need to blag some newer
PDAs to test 16bit rendering. Still, it's not that far removed from
writing Windows games before the days of 3D - a bit of trip down
memory lane for me really ;-)
The aim at the moment is to create a simple Pronto-like remote
control, sending xPL messages instead of IR or RF, along with a PC
based editor for creating the screens. The easy bit (the xPL!) is
done, now I'm onto the graphics stuff.
