Hi all,

Have published a new beta at www.xplhal.com

Fixes/Changes are all related to MVP

1) Fix corruption of filenames on bottom of thumbnail menu screen's

2) _hopefully_ have fixed problem with movies >2GB (though 4GB limit
does
apply)

3) MVP settings in clients.xml are now written to mvp (if mvp reports back
different settings)

Those upgrading from 3.8f just need xplrionet.exe, others should follow
previously posted instructions (or re-install)

Until the tv settings are available from the web interface, you must edit
clients.xml (xplrionet.xml contains the defaults for new mvp's)

Values for settings are:

tvtype="pal" or "ntsc"

tvconnect="rgb" or "svideo" or "composite" or
"rgb/composite"

tvaspect="4:3" or "16:9"

tvflicker="none" or "low" or "medium" or
"high"

Changing the 'tvconnect' setting seems to cause a 10 to 15 second delay
before the mvp responds to the first key press when the settings are saved
to the mvp (don't know if the original software does this, as i can't get
it
working)

Trying an aspect of "16:9" crashes my mvp's (did the same with
original
software too).
