Yes, it's pretty much the same code.

What happens is this:

The hub binds to all local IP interfaces on the IANA-assigned xPL port 3865
UDP.

When xPL apps transmit, by default they use the broadcast address
255.255.255.255, so Windows routes the UDP packet to each of the listening
IP interfaces, so the hub sees one message for each interface that it is
bound to.

One way round this is to allow a mechanism for the user to specify which
interface the hub should bind to - this should aboid the problem of
duplicate messages.
