Thanks for that Tony,
Just taken delivery of the IO Warrior 40 starter kit, though yet to
assemble it. On the xPL side, how do I go about making this work? I
have absolutely no programming knowledge, and don’t know where to start
with the SDK! I am intending to use it purely for contact closure
inputs.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
James

Hi James,
Just had a quick look at the SDK and it all looks simple enough, so yes
it
could be easily xPL enabled.
> Would it be possible to interface this with xpl in order to receive
contact closure, etc?
Have a quick glance it doesn't _seem_ to have 'events' triggering, but I
guess a loop that keeps reading the device would do the same.
I'm currently trialing using the rf DS10E door/window closures with xpl
(they use the x10 security rf, rather than normal x10). They work great
other than signal range, but I suspect that's because I don't have a
good
enough arial with my bx24-aht. Theyre is a version of the marmitek mouse
receiver modified with a new pic to receive these types of rf signals
too,
but havent been able to get my hands on one yet to trial. The ds10e is
about
20 quid a pop though, but the advantage is no wires.
Regards
Tony
