RE: merry christmas
Hi all,
For those of you who are already bored with your Christmas presents, we
thought we'd make available a preview of the next release of the xPLHal
Manager for you to play with:
http://www.xpl.myby.co.uk/downloads/xplhalmgr/xplhalmgr-preview.zip
The ZIP file just contains xplhalmgr.exe - extract it over the top of your
current xplhalmgr.exe (probably found in C:\Program Files\xPL\xPLHal).
There are some cool new features that make it much easier to create
determinators - full details below.
Remember this is just a preview release, so if you have any suggestions on
how we can improve these new features, please let us know so we can make
any changes prior to the official release.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all.
Regards,
John
xPLHal Manager - Version 1.45
=========================3D====
Release Date: TBD
NB: This is a preview release only.
New Features:
- You can right-click on any message in the xPL Monitor and automatically
enter the New Determinator Wizard, with the Determinator
already configured to run when the chosen message is received.
- You can right-click on any message in the xPL Monitor, and have a global
variable automatically populated with a specific
element from the chosen message. A determinator will be automatically
created
to populate the global whenever the message is received.
Modifications:
- Plug-ins are now stored under the system's common application data
folder.
By default, this is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\xPL\Plugins.
This is to allow other applications other than the xPLHal Manager to
reliably locate plug-in files.
When you run the Manager for the first time, it will move all your plug-ins
to the new location.
- The Sub Routine Builder is no longer supported, and has been removed*.
- Globals list refresh is now optional via the tools menu.
Fixes:
- The xPL Monitor now functions correctly when running with no hub.
* = still working on this - there are still some references to it that need
removing.
