So I've got two Dell units on my network, one is hardwired (about
100' of CAT3) and the other is at the other end of a 802.11B link.
The hardwired one plays fine (save for the occasional drop-outs for
tracks 160Kbs or greater) but the remote one plays 30 seconds and
then stops.

So the linkage goes from Server PC -> 8 port switch->802.11b netgear
AP-> Linksys WET11-> 4 port hub->remote PC & the other Dell.

Odd thing is, once it gets in this mode I have to reboot the serving
PC (XP Home) in order for the Dell to be able to reboot back into
the xPLRioNet client. Otherwise the Dell is stalled at initiallizing
eternally, it never even times out.

I'm not sure where to check next.

PS. What is the protocol for turning off the DHCP server in
xPLRioNet or atleast manually assigning the IP (I figure it is in
the DHCP.XML down in the bottom--but what is the format of the
entries?

Thanks,
Tim
