so i just wrote an asp script that will do this.  i'll post it on my
site later.  one thing i noticed, is that xpl phone will take up 99%
of the cpu from the time it takes the phone off hook until it hangs up
the phone.  also, if it doesn't detect a carrier it will stay at 99%
and i have to kill the app.
