Is the app based on xpl_devcom?
Just closing/re-opening the port (which xpl_devcom does regardless of any
changes to the com settings) hangs it. It doesn't seem to mind the comm
settings being set at startup, so I'm guessing it's just a close/open
issue?
Frank tried changing settings on vfd and it crashed, rather than hung, the
app for him.
I'm at a bit of a loss really.
Taking out the auto close/open will prevent some issues, but makes changing
the com settings still a problem.
