Personally I use the b) option with my mp3's. Potential problem might be
though that the wav files are in c:\ or c:\music and you don't have either
a folder or the folder within a folder layout.

The problem I can see with c) is that the length of filename may get quite
big. This would present a problem if you want to burn backups of your
music to DVD and want to follow the default standards, I have seen warnings
about filename lengths when burning before but don't know what the maximum
standard length should be.

Just realised WAV doesnt seem to support any tags....

This leaves a few options:

a) have filename as track name (and have no album/artist)

b) as 'a' + use containing folder as album and it's containing folder as
artist

c) have a filename that has a specific format e.g.
trackno-artist-album-track.wav

Anyone have any thoughts? is there a convention for this sort of thing?

Thanks
Tony
