Hi all,
All of the vb6 applications and development frameworks at www.xplhal.com
have been slightly modified as follows:
Each release now has an incrementing version number starting at 5.1.0.0
(most are currently at 5.1.0.1)
If the ocx initialisation or startup fail, the applications will display an
error message - rather than exiting silently.
A recent change to the app's included building a default instance from
(upto) first 10 characters of pc name + HHMMSS
However, I forgot to strip out any invalid characters. DOH!
They now use (upto) the first 10 valid characters (0 to 9, a to Z) + HHMMSS
