A quick xPL message query

If I have two devices temperature devices in one instance say

device=sensor1
temp=18.0C
device=sensor2
temp=19.3C

Do I have to send both in the same xPL message or is it OK to send two xPL
messages one after the other each with just one pair of

device=
temp=

The reason for asking is that I can see a situation where I want to report
details of both temperature devices and also ID devices. By transmitting
one device at a time it would mean not having to store all temp details and
ID details until you get to the end of the search so you could make up two
or more messages for each device type e.g. temp.basic and say a
iButton.basic

S.
