Just to re-inforce where this is going...

This data dictionary is used by the xplhal configuration system, and will
provide a really slick installation of devices/applications onto the
network.

The current textfile format is for discussion, the eventual format will be
in a centrally stored xml file, which should (hopefully ;) ) be addressable
by the xplhal controller over the web (as well as locally, of course), so
the latest config information is always available.
