xPL Bridge Released

  • Subject: xPL Bridge Released

Hi all,

For the past month or so I've been using a basic (not fully compliant) xpl
bridge to monitor my home phone lines from work.

Having spoken to Ian Lowe, we decided it would be cool to finish it off for
release.

I have to say that Ian did all the hard work, getting it fully compliant
and
adding the encryption routine etc.

So the specification is:

xPL Bridge (default source.instance = xpl-bridge.default)

Uses MD5 Hashing Cache to prevent message looping

Uses Blowfish ENCRYPTION to encrypt all messages

FILTERS for outgoing/incoming messages

Excludes 3639 as allowable bridge Port to prevent leak onto network.

The binary is available for download at

Regards
Tony
