Okay..

This is of limited use, but it's a learning experience ;)

I use an application caled ISDN-CID from www.telecosoft.com to handle my
ISDN lines. As well as CID, it's an answerphone and Fax Machine, and only

USD to register. It's been part of our HA setup since the year dot.

...and now, it talks xPL!

This is another command line app. ISDN-CID allows external apps access to
the CID information through the use of command line parameters.

If anyone uses a similar setup, this is a cool tool :) if not, it's still
an
interesting example of the power of simple cmd line apps to integrate with
existing intelligent systems and open them up the xPL world.
