Hi all,

Have just published v1.5 of rioplayxpl to www.xplhal.com

It has the following changes:

Added font panel/xpl/rioweb functions to allow streaming from Slimserver
(used by slimp3/squeezebox)

xPL command is extended=slimserver stream

The stream is currently controlled via the slimserver web interface

Support for slimserver in rioplayxpl will be expanded in the next release
to
allow menu based music selection from slimserver on the rio. This will be
either via interacting (in the background) with the slimserver web
interface, or if I can work out the squeezebox protocol then hopefully as a
true client.

The remote.basic messages sent when operating the control panel or remote
now have an additonal item power=on/off
This is to ensure any scripts making use of the remote control for other
purposes (e.g. controlling tivo) knows if the key presses were meant for
the
rio or other xpl use. The power button on the front panel and remote no
longer send remote.basic messages.
