Working on a flowchart doc just now, one question though: why not xPLHal?

The reason being: the xpl environment is becoming much easier to use,
largely *because* of the simplicity of xPLHal Manager.. and the xml plugin
architecture used in the config process there is a pretty core element of
the environment, and I can't help but think a seperate configuration app
that isn't integrated into the whole scripting environment is a backwards
step at this point..

That being said, I'm keen to understand the reasoning? What's your
thoughts?
