Hi Tony
My idea for the alert message is to Flash the message on the screen
in Red and maybe also sound a beeper for say 5 seconds..The beeper would
only be
useful if the electronics were located near the tv......??

>ALERT=Y or N

I prefer this one ;-))

Thanks
Frank

Hi Frank,

I'd like to propose we add an optional item to the end of the current
OSD.BASIC schema

ALERT=Y or N

Alternatively, we just replicate the current osd.basic schema into an
osd.alert schema?

Comments/thoughts anyone?

Thanks
Tony
