ahh ok, so maybe a requirement to limit messages to a certain number
per minute then ;-) I suppose if we had a bright sunny day with no wind
there wouldn't be a change for quite a while so requesting data migh
still be nice. (As if we would ever get a bright sunny day with no wind
that is)

While I don't have any direct problem with using mi4. ,the developer
should ask for a proper vendor code. In theory the code should be unique
to a developer. Also migh look nicer if the .1 became .local ?

minor one this but the date should be in YYYYMMDD format . This is kind
of a standard format for dates in xAP messages as it saves confusion
between Americans and us Brits. It also alot easier to parse as the
information is alway in the same place, 20040410 v 10/4/2004

seems odd to me too. I wonder why!
