Re: HomeSeer and xAP

Thanks for the welcome and the quick reply, Kevin.

Yes, I'm running HomeSeer HS2 presently. Thank you for the suggestion -
I'l=
l
uninstall the plugin (is this simply a case of deleting the OCX?) and try
the one that you've suggested.

I don't presently have an xAP device to work with, no. I'm looking to gain
=
a
high-level understanding of how the protocol operates and how it can be
use=
d
to integrate with HomeSeer. From there, I'd like to dirty my hands a bit
an=
d
develop some simple applications.

So what I'm really looking to do is have a few autonomous applications
(clocks, for example) run on the same network, and verify with the viewer
that everything is playing nicely. I'm then going to need to look into the
frameworks currently available for xAP, but that's a question for another
day!

Thanks again.

Tom.

Hi Tom,

=A0=A0 Welcome to xAP.=A0=A0=A0=A0 There are two xAP plugins for HomeSe=

assuming you are running HomeSeer2 I would recommend you use the
