Xap Homeseer conduit

I'm just in the process of rebuilding my server from sbs2003 to sbs2008.
Got most things up and running but I can't get the homeseer Xap conduit
to work at all. On start up these errors show in the log

31/05/2010 16:50:38 - Info - HS Compatibility, cannot access plug-in
HSPI_XAP2.HSPI Component 'MSWINSCK.OCX' or one of its dependencies not
correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid
31/05/2010 16:50:38 - System - Registering hspi_xAP2.ocx with Windows
31/05/2010 16:50:40 - Info - HS Compatibility, cannot access plug-in
HSPI_XAP2.HSPI Component 'MSWINSCK.OCX' or one of its dependencies not
correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid
31/05/2010 16:50:40 - Error - Unable to access plugin: hspi_xAP2.ocx,
try reinstalling plug-in

I copied the hspi_xAP2.ocx file into the root directory of HS2 and
successfully registered it.
I have also placed MSWINSCK.ocx in both the HS2 root directory and
windows\system32 and also successfully registered them.
I have downloaded and run the vb6 run time files just in case but I
cannot get rid of the errors, and therefore can't use xAP in homeseer
which for me is an integral part.

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this it would be greatly
appreciated, I want to swap the servers over as soon as possibly but
this will mean I can't until I get this fixed.
