Couple of things to try.
First  even though the ODBC line looks empty even a space would cause
it to activate. Just delete the line to be sure.
If you close floorplan the rename the .mdb  and then restart Floorplan
it should recreate a new mdb and recreate the tables.  This will test
that all the database components are correctly running/installed.
(Then put your old db back again!)
I've tried the mdb loading and saving on my Floorplan here and it
seems ok. Is anyone else using the database and not seeing logging
happening?
On the homepage under Log / Events  are you seeing any error messages?
