RE: Launcher feature request

How would you do the away bit - does launcher track keyboard/mouse
useage? If so, that doesn't mean much here I think as I can be at the PC
for ages and not touch it - using another PC. I'd go for all messages in
a day. Any longer than that and I'd probably use Geovision to look at
CCTV logs.

Although for completeness a save messages for x days would be even
better.

Caching of messages and their images isn't a problem and should be
pretty easy to add. The only issue i can see is messages with video
(images with refresh set). For these I would realistically be only
storing the first frame.
As far as history goes there are three ways. All messages stored by day,
kept for x days. Just keep messages for today.Just keep messages
received while away. My personal preference would be the last and it's
certainly the easiest to do too. The first option is definitely the
hardest! What do you think?

James,

The doorbell image popup in Launcher works most of the time now J I was
just wondering if there's a way to somehow cache the messages/images.

e.g. If I'm away from the PC and doorbell goes but I can't answer the
door - would be nice to see the snapshot that was displayed. Could also
be good for other displayed messages.

I guess what I'm asking for is a convenient message history feature from
Launcher. Is this possible to implement at all?

Cheers,

Paul.
