Difficulty installing v2 hub as service

Hi,
I encounter the following error when attempting to install the v2 hub
as a service (both for "Everyone" or "Just me"):
"The account name is invalid or does not exist, or the password is
invalid for the account name specified."
The event log shows the error as:
"The description for Event ID ( 11001 ) in Source ( MsiInstaller )
cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry
information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote
computer. The following information is part of the event: Product: xAP
Hub Windows Service -- Error 1001. The account name is invalid or does
not exist, or the password is invalid for the account name specified,
(NULL), (NULL), (NULL)."
The platform is windows2k w/ .net v2 installed.
