this doesn't go through, it's in my logger's format:

XPL-STAT  	28-08-06 09:12:27  	pts.starcom.home  	*.*.*
sensor.basic
DEVICE 	MasterTemp
LEVEL 	75

message shows up as this in viewer:

Error Message: A xAP message received was malformed.
xpl.pts.starcom.home:mastertemp is a subaddress but the UID is not:
FF486200
Received From: 127.0.0.1:4118

xap-header
{
v=12
hop=1
uid=FF486200
class=xapbsc.info
source=xpl.pts.starcom.home:mastertemp
}
output.state
{
State=On
Level=0
}

i don't have an example of what works now because i changed what i was
doing to get around the problem. the ones that used to get through
had a different device name but that's the only fundamental
difference. it ended up only allowing me to have 8 devices, the first
8 devices i ever sent.
