also, is there a xap logger that automatically logs to a file? i know
that viewer logs and you can click save to save the log but is there
something that can run as a service and constantly log to a file?

i currently use the xpl logger here http://users.telenet.be/see/ha
and i can specify exactly how i want the log converted to html and
what messages to ignore, etc. something like this for xap would be
very useful to me.

user error!)
