Hi,

=20

Since I live in Sweden I get xap-messages from xAP TV and xAP News 3
containing swedish TV show titles and descriptions from xAP TV. I get
headlines and text from xAP News 3 in swedish. When these messages are sent
over the xAP network the special swedish letters =E5, =E4 and =F6 is
conver=
ted to
e, d and v. It is really hard to read these converted messages.

=20

I suspect that the problem is in the framework or the implementation of the
framework in the applications. Can someone please help me whith this so I
can use these swedish letters in the messages.

=20

If you can=92t se the special letters above, they are:

Lowercase

=E5 (a with a ring on top) ASCII(134) is converted to e ASCII(101)

=E4 (a with two dots on top) ASCII(132) is converted to d ASCII(100)

=F6 (o with two dots on top) ASCII(148) is converted to v ASCII(118)

Uppercase

=C5 (A with a ring on top) ASCII(143) is converted to E ASCII(69)

=C4 (A with two dots on top) ASCII(142) is converted to D ASCII(68)

=D6 (O with two dots on top) ASCII(153) is converted to V ASCII(86)

=20

Ascii-numbers from www.lookuptables.com

=20

On the web pages for xAP TV and xAP News 3 the letters are correct but not
when sent in xAP messages.
