Great!  Thanks so much for the thorough explanation.  I think that I now
understand enough to begin trying things (i.e., being dangerous) and at
least ask more specific, detailed questions specific to integration.
The current switchboard capabilities are quite enough for me to begin
work on an initial integration w/ asterisk dialing via switchboard.
