xAP News 3 beta 2 released

Hi,

I've just uploaded the second beta of News3 to mi4.biz

The big new feature is a direct link to Apple's iTunes. Now, if enabled,
once the podcasts get downloaded a playlist is generated in iTunes and
if connected it will get synced straight to your ipod.
Also you can now easily enable/disable any feed, select if display
messages are to be sent per feed, turn on  or off .alert messages per
feed and also turn on and off the sending of the news.story messages per
feed. This is all done through a simple interface of red/green globes.
Each feed., on the config screen, has 4 globes. The first is
enable/disable, second is send/don't send news.story, third is
send/don't send news.alert and lastly send/don't send display messages.
One final new feature is an rss feed of its own. News3 now generates an
rss feed of the latest changes to any of the monitored feeds, the one
feed to rule the all , to borrow a phrase. This works really well when
used as the screensaver on a slimp3!
