Re: Outlook, Caller ID, Intranet was Idea for new xAP software

Paul,
It will basically have this featureset at launch, as well as the
syncing of address data with CIDlookup.

Calendar reminders with a category of 'xAP' are sent out over xAP as
Outlook.Reminder messages
Calendar reminders with a category of 'xAPTTS' will be spoken via a xAP
TTS app
Calendar reminders with a category of 'xAPDisplay' will be sent to to
xAP display devices
Calendar reminders with a body containing <xAP> </xAP> tags
will be
processed and sent (more later)
New mail alerts with a category of 'xAP' are sent over xAP as
Outlook.NewMail messages
New mail alerts with a category of 'xAPSend' and containing <xAP>
</xAP>
will be processed and sent

An example <xAP> </xAP> tag is

<xAP>
Class=message.display
<msg>
Display
{
Line1=Hello
Line2=World
}
</xAP>

and you can have as many of these tags per reminder / email as you
like. So basically you can schedule any number of xAP messages to be
sent by using your outlook calendar or email xAP messages home to be
sent, and it's all under the control of how you setup your
categories/filters in outlook.
