Thanks for this. I don't actually _have_ a SliMP3 available to test :-(
I see how I can do what I want provided I hide the client's Slim
remote and just use a Pronto :-) I guess the thing to test is whether
the Slim can be set to "always output at fixed level" if the
client
_uses_ the Slim remote.
