My Slim is either large text or small text in either mode. Is that a
feature of a newer software version or something I haven't spotted
before? I've not used the large text feature at all.

Mucho thanks for the test report too.

I was thinking if I could find out which display mode the Slim is in I
could reconfigure the display message to join the two separate lines
together into one longer single 'line' message.

I'll be updating the SliMP3 Connector to feature a message queue
similar to that of the TiVo YAC utility (which sends my TiVo its OSD
messages). This will (later) enable priority messages to slide in over
anything else in there, whilst still allowing everything to have its
fair share of screen time. But more immediately it will solve the
overlap problem we currently have. This'll solve the problem at the
connector end rather than the POP3 app, which I think is the right
thing to do.

That's next after an update to POP3 and NewEmailOSD that I've been
working on today, which is v.useful :-) Might get these out today once
I've checked everything. Quite a range of smallish updates here.
