Re: What system are you using?

It is interesting the stark difference in activity on both forums and the
list over the last 5 years or so.

In terms of systems having lurked and learnt a huge amount from this list
over the years and bought into Indigo for very basic use many years ago I'm
now starting to do more and get into more true 'automation' using Indigo
and Zwave.

It's great that Amazon Echo, Wemo et al bring the discussion and topic of
HA to the forefront but the vast majority of them don't give automation,
they give remote control. It's a start though and with Echo routines it's
one step forwards for the masses.

Agree with all thats been said, I want 100% WAF. We travel regularly and
have house sitters (different ones every time) so to have to explain how to
turn lights on etc is an absolute NO!

So far I'm using fibaro zwave modules behind standard toggle or momentary
lightswitches.

Now dabbling in motion sensors and loving those. Debating what to do when
we travel whether it is simply easier to have a 'travelling' mode that
switches all automations, motion lights etc off to just avoid confusion for
people.

The Indigo forums are pretty active, as are the Smart Things forums which I
keep an eye on for inspiration for projects and ideas.

Just wish other suppliers would catch up with CBUS and give me DLT/eDLT
type switch options for non CBUS systems!!

Reliability of the above is 99% I'd say.

Cheers
