Hi
all,

Finally looking
at moving away from X10 to something more responsive and flexible.
I am considering z-wave or Lightwave RF and have a couple of
questions:

1)
Is there a UK double faceplate 4 way dimmer for z-wave as I can't
seem to find one?
My kitchen has 2x 4 way switches that
operate 5 circuits using micromodules/macros at present but cannot seem to
find a suitable z-wave alternative. Maybe micromodules again with same
faceplate? Lightwave is winning here with their 4 way dimmer and
slave...

2)
How easy is it to integrate the following into a coherent system (in order
of priority):

-
Appliance/lighting control with timers/scenes<
/p>
- Heating/hot water room/zone control including
vacation control

- CCTV
(currently have 1 IP cam as standlaone, but might be nice to
integrate)

- Security (arm status etc from existing
panel)

z-wave
controllers seem varied and hard to choose between and I guess a lot of the
answer to Q2 comes down to the controller and the app/software that goes
with it. Any suggestions and recommendations gratefully
received.

Thanks

Pete
