Clipsal pink Cat5 and mains cable

Hi all,

I did think of asking CBus Shop directly but thought I'd ask it here so we
all get the benefit of the answer :-)

I want to run some Cat5 to my garden shed as wireless from the house
doesn't quite reach that far. I could do it with a dedicated wireless
bridge, but it's still wireless...
Years ago I buried 2" ducting to get power to the shed and for most of
the
run there are 2 ducts, one with mains and one is empty.
However, the last ~10m to the shed is a single 2" duct with mains
already
in it.

The description for the pink cable says:
"A second feature is that the cable may for short runs be routed into
a
switchboard close to mains cable."

see:
https://www.laser.com/product_info.php/item/5005C305B-C-Bus_Pink_Cable_305m_CAT5e/cPath/168_47/products_id/173
"

How short is short, and why only short runs?
Is it advisable (or even just ok?) to put it in the same duct as my mains
cable for the last 10m to the shed?

Else it is a day with a spade to bury a new duct, or more likely a
powerline networking solution.

Cheers,
Tim.
