Well after having all the switches in this place off over the Xmas
holidays=
to pop in CBus wireless switches I find that all the light switches here a=
re wired live / neutral and Earth ... Unfortunately the bloody foil backed
=
board stops the kitchen switch reaching the wireless gateway (maybe if I
mo=
ved the gateway it would work but it would probably stop the bedroom
switch=
working).

Anyway ... In all the backboxes the neutral and earths and chocolate
blocke=
d together with only the live running into the switch and on to the light
f=
itting (I guess that explains why no two-way switching anywhere in the
plac=
e).

So I am still tempted to just chocolate block the bloody lives and put
blan=
ks over the top ... Would be nice to pop the wireless dimmer switches over
=
the top though ... :-)

I don't know what kind of finish it would be possible to get from a 3D
prin=
ter - or even create by painting / lacquering - or whether bits of the
wire=
less dimmer switch back plates could be reused...

Phil

Sent from another bloody fruit-based portable device...
