Just a couple of thoughts (I'm not an expert :-)  )
- Is DHCP off on all of the access points (except the main one)?
- Is the wireless encryption *exactly* the same across all APs? (I
temporarily used an older router which only did one of TKIP or AES, whereas
the rest of my APs did the other one). I had no end of problems which I put
down to this encryption difference, but could've been something else I
suppose...
- Are the APs on separate channels, e.g. 1, 6 & 13, and not all on the
same
channel
- Is the touchscreen always ping-able? (e.g. from wired PC when iPad fails)
- Do the other devices *always* have a network/internet connection (trying
to determine whether the iPads etc. drop of the network or if the
touchscreen does).
- Do the iPads etc always work in the same location in the house but
intermittently in others, or intermittent all over?


Will come back with anything else that I think of :-)
