OT ish - Label making methods

Sort of off topic, I've got a Dymo label maker but thats limited to
rectangular labels with black on a given colour tape. I've a requirement to
make some more colourful labels, some with yellow text on a transparent
background and some of which need to be circular, I have an inkjet and am
reasonable good with photoshop, what are my best options for printing the
labels?

Thanks for any help in advance

Gary
