Light switch status

Following on from this discussion I'd like to ask for some suggestions
about
controlling my lighting.

All my lights have individual T&E feeds which go back to several local
nodes
around the house.
All my switch wiring also goes back to these points, so I have the
capability of adding some kind of switching/control devices at these nodes.
A good number of the lights will be switched by DPCO Step relays so I could
use the spare contacts on these step relays to signal the status of each
light/group of lights, if necessary
The lights that are currently not due to be switched by step relays could
readily be controlled by the addition of a simple DPCO DIN mounting relay,
again the spare contact being used to signal its status.

Has anybody got any suggestions as to what system/hardware possibilities
exist for me?

Many thanks

Tracey
