Is that Byron saying it? Or the guy who runs their HomeEasy forum,
because he seems pretty clueless to be honest!

All the HomeEasy gear comes from an OEM in the far east, and identical
kit is sold around the world under different brand names.  The
technology doesn't have any support for two-way comms, so don't hold
your breath on Byron's devices getting that ability any time soon.

It's easy to understand why - two-way gear would be a whole lot more
expensive, and they're aiming at people who want to control a few
gadgets with a remote (if a command is missed, they'll just press the
button again).  You'll note there is no PC interface iu the range - they
want to keep it all as low cost and simple as possible.
