RE: Wind Turbines and Heating Water
Hi Stuart
Where I used to live in the UK, it probably wouldn't have been viable -
however I've recently moved to southern Spain and live 700m above sea level
(half way up a mountain). The wind here is very very strong (I'm about to
order a weather station from Maplin to measure it), but I can say it's the
strongest average wind I've ever experienced!!! Last night my neighbour
lost half their ridge tiles and the locals say it's not unusual for this
time of year.

Sounds great, have you checked that a turbine is viable for you
location ?
