Hi Phil,

I was expecting to be dissapointed, it was a clearance item so I got some
money off and the option to take it back if I did not like it.

It plays a lot of formats from USB and will play MPEG and other formats
over the LAN, problem is many formats don't support any controls like pause
or fast forward. So it is "OK" but a long way off what I would
like it to be. The HP Server automatically pulls recorded TV off the
touchsmarts and converts it to MPEG in various resolutions, these don't
seem to play over the LAN due to an issue with the Audio CODEC, need to
find some time to see if I can sort that.

The built in You Tube feature is fun and works well, perhaps I things will
get a little better later with some firmware updates.
