RE: GU10 LED's

I am yet to find any even non dimming ones that don't blow up after a
short
time or else start to pulsate etc when they warm up.

Opening the dead ones has revealed circuitboards that are not fit for
direct
application of the mains. No isolation present between the circuitboard and
metal housing which is not earthed.

I doubt any of the ones available from the like of ebay would pass any
earth
test if applied to them. Plus all the ones I have opened have only had a
400v cap on the power supply.

Go low voltage, 35 or 20w good quality lamps on a decent electronic
transformer, the x10 dimmers are still pretty rubbish when driving those
for
stability of output but that will get you most of the way there.

Subject: [ukha_d] GU10 LED's

Hi all,

I want to replace all my 240v GU10 bulbs with LED versions. I have X10 DIN
rail dimmers. Can any recommend something compatible?

TIA
Darren
