RE: Possible low cost touch screen device

Thanks Peer,

I am not that up on ARM devices but recently I have been looking for
something to play around with Android on. I want to try and develop a
platform for future projects and having the likes of Android as the OS
means
I can simply concentrate on the application code instead of the current
method of developing from scratch each design or pulling in code from other
projects. I would ideally like to find a reference platform design that
comes with all the schematics and bill of materials so I can look at doing
my own PCB after I have played around with their dev kit.

Cheers,
Dave.

the mini2440 is a nice little machine. But imho it is past its usefullness.

Looking thru eBay you can find android 7" touchscreens for < 100EUR
delivered.

What I do like about the 2440 is the form factor for putting them into
the wall.
