Re: Wireless to Wired - or homeplug

I do exactly that with two WRT54Gs with dd-wrt firmware. I have a Sky
(Netgear) router on the top floor (3 storey townhouse) with PCs
attached to the Ethernet ports, then on each of the other two floors,
I have a WRT54G connected wirelessly in client bridge mode with
XBOXes, SliMP3s etc attached to their ethernet ports.

It doesn't seem to be too fussy about brands, as I have had it working
with a Sky Sagem router, and a Linksys in the past. I haven't had the
same success with the homeplug stuff as others here have reported, so
for me the wireless setup works better.
