Re: Rain Sensor - as a digital input

Paul

They are actually very good!

A light sprinkling of drizzle is enough to trigger them so they are
reasonably sensitive, although the sensitivity can be adjusted.

The outdoor unit incorporates an integral heater to dry the surface off
once the rain has stopped and to prevent dew from triggering the unit.

If the input to the Velux controller is a simple volt free contact, I
think you would be happy with one of these as a replacement

Cheers

Neil.
