O2's recent letter said that they were going to apply traffic shaping to
re=
strict torrent and usenet downloads in an effort to improve normal
experien=
ce especially for things like iplayer etc.

My experience is that as of about 8pm  any attempt to stream video from
ipl=
ayer, itv, youtube etc, is pointless as they're network just can't handle
i=
t, frequent stuttering, pausing etc.=20

I've logged it with support who've asked me to use the o2 router so they
ca=
n line test for 24 hours, something i've not yet been bothered to do as
the=
routers somewhere in the loft as i use a netgear!

Pretty frustrating as up to now all was going well with O2.
